Established in 1983 to supply ferrous and non-ferrous castings to a variety of industries, we have over the years expanded our services to cover a complete range of Standard Fasteners, Turned Parts, Purlin Clips, Pressings and Tools.

PURLIN CLIPS - PECO

Purlin Clips – Manufactured on site, the Peco Purlin Clip (sometimes referred to as Purlin Hanger or Purlin Bracket) offers a fast efficient method for the hanging services directly to the Purlin, used in the construction industry for the fitting out of Steel Framed Buildings. Our data base of previous buildings supplied with Peco purlin clips, enables us to advise upon and identify the correct Peco purlin clips needed for the specific development.

SAFETY CLIP - PECO

This new innovative patented product is certified to BS EN 795:1997 covering Personal Protective Equipment and Anchor devices for protection against falls from a height. It is manufactured on site under license from Safety Stud Systems Ltd and independently tested to meet the stringent requirements for Fall Arrest systems and devices.

CASTINGS

Castings – The original identity of Archerdale was built around our founder Leslie Brown and his technical knowledge of the foundry industry. We no longer cast on site, but do offer the complete service from conception to finished machined tested and assembled product. The stock holding facility allows smooth flow of parts to customer’s production requirements.

SPECIALS

Special Fasteners & Turned Parts – Our “in house” machine shop and tool making enables Archerdale to supply Fasteners and allied products exactly to customer specification. Jobs can be turned round in hours if a breakdown situation arises.

TOOLS

Tools – Please ask for a copy of our Product Catalogue, giving details of hand and power tools and all types of associated products.

PRESSINGS

Pressings – Our Machine / Press shop has a wide selection of Power Presses, ranging from 7.5 ton to 100 ton with a manufacturing capability for Channel Bracketry, Customer bespoke Pressings and “under license” manufacturing projects. Enquires are welcome for any of this type of work.

Quality – Assessed to BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 and supported by the M-Store document imaging software we are able to supply full traceability to any job requiring that extra level of certification and assurance.

STOCK MANAGEMENT

The company's recent adoption of a stock management system serviced by its own vans has proven very popular, with a large number of customers throughout the UK realising the benefits of Archerdale controlling their production requirements with a simple system geared to their needs.
