Realising the importance of a recognized approval for its systems, Archerdale attained certification to BS EN IS0 9001 in March 1995. The approval reflects our commitment to customers and suppliers.

In particular, it gives our customers confidence that Archerdale have the ability to back up its wide range of products with documentation and control of all items supplied.

This recognition has contributed significantly to the continued growth of the company. Six-monthly assessments by National Quality Assurance Ltd (NQA) are met with a positive approach, allowing the company's various departments to express their views on the smooth running of the business.

We also hold "Link Up Qualified via Audit" Approval being a major supplier of safety critical fasteners to many divisions of the UK Rail Industry.

We welcome independent and customer assessments of our working practice.

In 2002 we installed M-store document imaging software. This program archives digital images of all the documents entering our control, including paper and email. By retrieving a single document from our records we can immediately access all other documents in the transaction set that are electronically linked to it. Requests for copies of documents can be handled immediately and despatched to our customers via fax or post, or, by using e-mail we can provide instant copies of any document to your desktop.

Archerdale Service. The Customer comes first!

Archerdale is totally geared towards the customer. All incoming calls are directed straight to the sales desk. The aim is for any sales person to be able to answer any customer's requirements, but single contacts are arranged for companies who prefer to deal with the same member of staff each time.

Our documentation is designed to be extremely user friendly - all delivery notes and invoices can be tailored to the customer's requirements. There is also the facility to incorporate the customer's part numbers or drawing numbers into the documents, enabling an easy passage through the goods inwards and accounts departments.

Order acknowledgements, full certification, traceability and letters of conformity are available on request at time of order. Deliveries are made via Archerdale's own fleet of vehicles and recognised carrier companies. Prices are all carriage-paid unless previously agreed with the customer.

Service can never be over estimated, a new Stock Management System serviced by our own van has proven very popular.
